FAQ: Why don't you do FREE SHIPPING?
We could, like other websites that provide free shipping, add the post and packing charge to the product price so there would in effect be no shipping charge which, if you are only buying one item, would be OK. BUT, if you are buying more that one item, which most of our customers do, then you would be paying the shipping charge twice or even three or four times.
For example, buy a second or third pair of sunglasses or goggles, on the same order, and the additional P&P charge is only 40p for each additional pair (based on UK 2nd class Recorded Delivery) and NOT £3.39 for each additional pair.
We think our sytem is fairer. We've colour coded products to the shipping chart and we are adding 'Save on Shipping' tip boxes throughout the store to help you save more. |
Shipping / Delivery Methods:
- UK Customers have a choice of:
- Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery
- Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery
- Special Delivery guaranteed by 1pm next working day (Monday to Friday).
- European and International Orders are sent by Royal Mail International Signed For via Airmail

Shipping / Despatch Times:
- Orders are despatched the day after being received - Quite often, and usually, they are despatched same day, but we don't quarantee same day despatch. If you require your order urgently, please use the 'live help' button at the top right hand corner of each page, email us, add a note to your order, or telephone us and we'll do our very best to get your order out as soon as possible.
- For UK customers we offer 1st and 2nd Class Recorded Delivery Options plus Special Delivery by 1pm next working day.
- We also despatch on Saturday mornings - get your order in by 9am Sat morning and it will be despatched that morning. Please be aware that the Post Office closes at midday on Saturdays.

Ordering / Despatch Procedure:
- When you have place an order, you will receive an automated order acknowledgement. This is to confirm that we have received your order.
- You will then receive a second email saying your order has been packed ready for despatch and when we intend to despatch it. This email will also contain your parcel tracking and a parcel tracking link.
- The third email will confirm your order has been despatched and will again list your parcel tracking number and parcel tracking link

Packaging:
- To ensure your order reaches you in pristine condition we do not skimp on packaging or packaging materials
- Sunglasses and Goggles are wrapped in bio-degradeable bubble wrap and then packed in strong high quality rigid flute corrugated board boxes with rigid triple thickness sides, double thickness base, secure locking tab and full length front flap to provide greater strength and secure postal protection

Item/s out of Stock
- If we do not have all the items in stock to fulfil your order, we will email you as soon as possible with full information about the product/s out of stock, when it/they are expected back in stock and give you the option to make substitutes, back order the item/s not in stock, receive a split-order, cancel the out of stock item/s or cancel the entire order.

Orders Returned as Undeliverable:
- If your order is returned to us as being undeliverable for whatever reason, we will refund you for the goods only less a 20% restocking fee.
- The most common cause of undeliverable orders is that no-one is present to sign for the order. Royal Mail will leave a card saying they have attempted to deliver the order and with instructions for collecting from your local sorting office or to arrange re-delivery. If you do not contact Royal Mail to arrange redelivery or collect the order from your local sorting office then it will eventually be returned to us and you will incur a 20% restocking fee that will be deducted from your refund.
- When ordering you have the option to have your order delivered to a different address from the invoice address, your work address for example, which can help alleviate this problem.
