Birdz Eyewear Feather 2 Rx-able sunglasses. Super sleek one-piece visor-style sunglasses that provide good peripheral protection from wind, rain, sun and dust. The kit includes 3 sets of interchangeable lenses - smoke, yellow and clear, making them ideal for runners and cyclists in high and low light conditions. They offer shatterproof, polycarbonate, UV400 protection and have a comfortable rubber nosepiece. Feather 2 sunglasses are extremely light and comfortable and have an optional Rx insert for prescription lenses. The Feather 2 includes a Birdz Eyewear zip-up belt case. Spare / Replacement Lenses are also available separately.

RX-able Insert: For prescription spectacle wearers there is an optional TR90 Rx-able insert for the Birdz Feather 2. Take the insert to your optician and have it fitted with your prescription. This insert pops right in behind the polycarbonate lens so you can use all three sets of tinted lenses with your prescription insert. The insert is made of TR-90, a strong flexible and very light weight nylon-based material.

Changing the Lenses: Slide the nosepiece off the lenses first. Then, take one end of the lens in your right hand and the frame in your left hand. Holding the frame vertically, firmly tug the lens down while pushing the frame up. You will have to bend the frame and lens slightly to get the lens out. Pop out the middle portion and then do the same with the other side lens.

To replace the lenses: Put each side of the lens in first, then lastly snap in the middle portion - you may have to slightly bow/bend the lens again. Finally, replace the nosepiece on the glasses.
